Designated one of the "Top 10 Walking Beaches" by Sunset Magazine, Horsfall Beach is part of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area that stretches nearly 50 miles along the Central Oregon Coast. Although horseback riding is allowed, the beach is not named for horses, but for William Horsfall, one of the region's first doctors.
