Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, ND

From 1873-1876 Colonel George Armstrong Custer and his wife, Libbie, held parties, dances and concerts in this elegant home in the middle of nowhere. It was from here that Custer left to meet his death at the Battle of Little Big Horn.
