The Fine Print
Contestant (or parent or legal guardian of contestant) grants WriteLine LLC permission to publish the photo, entrant's name and home town (or, at entrant's request, just their home state) on the "Postcards from America" website and in any additional publications. Entrant's address and phone number will not be published, nor will this information be shared with third parties. Postcards From America assumes no responsibility for submissions. Entrants agree that Postcards From America has the right to use, without further compensation, their photographs for promotion & publication on the website, as well as other related uses. Each image must be the original work of the person submitting the image. Entrants under 18 years of age must submit a release from a parent or guardian or be disqualified. Damaged, mutilated or otherwise illegible entries will be disqualified and discarded upon receipt without further consideration and without notification of entrants. The addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses of entrants will not be sold or otherwise provided to any third parties. By participating in this contest, entrants expressly acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, and waive all right to, and hold harmless, sponsor and its advertising and promotions agencies from any loss, damage or expense arising out of or in connection with participation in this contest or the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize, or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the promotion or in the announcement of the prizes. Postcards from America is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Postcards from America or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If, for any reason, this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, "bugs", tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Postcards from America which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this promotion, Postcards from America reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. Caution: Any attempt by a participant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent of the law. By submitting an entry, you acknowledge and agree that your entry is your original work and understand that it becomes the sole and exclusive property of Postcards from America and its subsidiaries, with the right to edit, modify, publish, broadcast, publicize, market submitted images at our discretion at anytime or otherwise use in any way the entry, your name and likeness, without further compensation to you whether or not judged a winner and you will provide written consent upon request.
